Echocardiography Technician/Echocardiographer

Be among the first 25 applicants Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Echocardiography Technicians to support operations at The Santa Rosa VA Medical Center located at 3841 Brickway Blvd, Santa Rosa, CA 95403. Selected Technicians will support all aspects of cardiac ultrasonography in the medical center. This is currently a part-time position only The practitioner must be competent in the production, use, recognition, and analysis to interpret preliminary results of echocardiograms and communicating abnormal results that require urgent or emergent physician intervention to the responsible cardiologist. Responsibilities Provide knowledge of normal/abnormal cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology, analyze echocardiograms to detect abnormalities, and interpret findings. Understand indications for using echocardiographic contrast and administer it per VA Protocol. Determine measurements needed for regurgitant lesions and obtain quality images. Maintain supplies and equipment for the Echocardiography Laboratory. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with staff at all levels. Provide staff development and training as needed. Qualifications Completion of formal training in dysrhythmia recognition and certification prior to performing services. Active BLS certification. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. No sponsorship available. Pay Range:

$43.43 - $71.50 hourly Physical Requirements: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach during shifts. Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist. Lift up to 20 lbs. Carry up to 40 lbs. Push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
