Senior Systems Administrator
to join our team at Program Executive Office Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation in Orlando, FL.
Minimum Requirements - Must be a US Citizen - DoD Secret Clearance required - Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
As a
Systems Administrator , you will manage and maintain computer networks supporting the US Armys PEO STRI in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities include network design, security management, troubleshooting, and ensuring network performance and compliance.
Responsibilities
Install, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, software, and OS. Maintain server environment stability. Create and update SOPs and knowledge management solutions. Configure servers, virtual servers, storage, and software for compliance. Support Active Directory, Systems Center, messaging, clustering, backup, and restoration. Develop and test disaster recovery plans. Manage data backups and configurations. Implement security patches and ensure cybersecurity compliance. Create and maintain databases for mission functions. Support migration to cloud environments, including integration and documentation. This description is not exhaustive of all duties.
Qualifications US Citizen with active Secret Clearance IAT Level II Certification or higher (e.g., Security+) Knowledge of Windows servers, PowerShell, Active Directory, GPO Experience with virtualization (VMware, Linux) Windows Server 2012+ Certification Familiarity with vulnerability scanners (Retina, ACAS, Nessus) Preferred Qualifications BA/BS in Computer Science or related field IAT Level III Certification (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security) Experience with cloud migration and administration Application support experience Experience in DoD environment Strong problem-solving and communication skills Additional Information Link Solutions offers competitive benefits including paid holidays, medical/dental/vision, disability, life insurance, bonuses, relocation, certification reimbursement, retirement, and more.
