Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Proper selection and combination of foundations, pumps, and related equipment for specific jobs. Knowledge of tubing hook-ups to spools and reels, hydraulic hook-ups to reels and foundations. Ability to identify and communicate problems with reels, equipment, and spools. Operate and maintain all testing equipment associated with visual and dimensional inspection (Mic's). Complete all report forms for quality assurance shipping and receiving as required. Make minor repairs to equipment, hose fittings, counters, rollers, etc. Proper execution of all procedures that pertain to used tubing and waste fluid. Proper execution of all tube cutting procedures and use of cutting torch equipment. Qualified/trained for forklift ground guide, crane rigging, and qualified to operate forklift up to 70,000 lbs. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area, utilize safe work habits. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred. Experience with power tools and hand tools is preferred. Forklift experience considered an asset.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Must be willing and able to work any overtime as required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently. Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures. Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties. Ability to multitask in fast paced environment. Factory environment with large range in temperature changes. Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
