Job Title Project Engineer - Tyndall AFB
Location Panama City, FL
Salary Based on experience; details discussed during interview.
Requirements
Must be a US Citizen.
Must pass a federal background review and drug screen.
Responsibilities
Observe and report on projects to government personnel.
Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance.
Analyze design and construction issues.
Provide recommendations for compliance and develop solutions for conflicting requirements.
Interpret drawings and specifications; ensure contract compliance.
Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and address project issues.
Assist in preparing change orders and claims.
Review schedules and pay applications.
Review contractor submittals including QA and Safety Plans.
Provide field surveillance and detailed reports.
Review drawings and specs.
Assist in scope modifications and cost estimates.
Ensure safety oversight.
Utilize Resident Management System (RMS).
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
10 years of experience on large federal construction projects, preferably DoD.
Experience with administrative buildings, airfield facilities, water and electrical systems, and roadways.
Experience with Three-Phase QC/Inspection process.
Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety Manual.
Experience with Resident Management System (RMS).
