Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration, testing, delivery, and deployment of mission-critical applications. Lead the DevSecOps lifecycle by integrating security best practices into all phases of development and operations. Select, deploy, and manage tools and platforms for automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, and testing. Manage Git-based workflows, code reviews, and branching strategies for high-velocity development teams. Collaborate with developers, testers, and system engineers to define and refine DevOps architecture and workflows. Implement and monitor vulnerability assessments, patch automation, and compliance with secure coding standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA). Support incident response, root cause analysis, and infrastructure debugging across development and production environments. Manage stakeholder expectations, project KPIs, and contribute to project planning and reporting cycles. Proactively drives process improvements to minimize waste, improve system reliability, and accelerate secure deployments. Mentor team members and foster a DevSecOps culture focused on automation, agility, and resilience. Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in software engineering and DevOps roles, including infrastructure, automation, and pipeline design. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong hands-on experience with Git, GitOps, and branching/version control best practices. In-depth knowledge of DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes. Solid background in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management. Experience implementing security controls and monitoring across the CI/CD pipeline, including vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and secure code validation. Understanding project management principles, agile workflows, and DevOps metrics tracking. Required Certifications (at least one):
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Equivalent DevOps or cloud security certifications may also be considered.
