(ANSER) is seeking a Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Standards Developer for Imagery Standards. In this role you will be responsible for providing specialized advice and assistance on complex technical projects. You will provide a variety of system analysis, design and/or engineering tasks that are broad and innovative in nature. Day to Day Responsibilities: Participate in national level steering and advisory groups, panels and committees. Advise/mentor technical team members at all levels and review work for technical accuracy. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on development of Still and/or Motion Imagery Standards in the following functional areas:

Still Imagery standards including, but not exclusive to:

National Imagery Transmission Format (NITF) NITF Extensions (MIE4NITF, SIDD, SICD, etc.) NATO Imagery standardized agreements (STANAGs) (NSIF, for instance)

Motion Imagery standards & phenomenologies including, but not exclusive to:

Electro Optical (EO) Large Volume Motion Imagery (LVMI)/Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI) Infrared Motion Imagery Standards (IR) Multispectral Imaging (MSI) Hyper spectral imaging (HSI)

Ensure current and future GEOINT standards will satisfy capability requirements at the program and strategic level across NGA, the NSG, and ASG. Required Qualifications: Minimum of four (4) years experience relevant to GEOINT/IMINT standards field with a STEM focused Master's degree.

Will consider an additional six (6) years relevant experience with a STEM focused Bachelor's degree or eight (8) years additional experience with an Associate's degree.

Demonstrated expertise in technical writing and editing, particularly in the context of military or ISR standards. Understanding of imaging process concepts to include sensors and how they work, as well as sensor collection parameters. Understanding of imaging workflow concepts to include how imagery data flows from collection platform to exploitation system to archive, as well as what processing or metadata additions can occur at the various steps in workflow. Understanding of GEOINT Standards core components including file formats, metadata models vs metadata coding, image formats vs image compression and dissemination protocols. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to clearly define scope and leverage EARS to convey requirements, use active voice, etc. Ability to write technical GEOINT standards with inputs from other SMEs. Be proactive in finding information or understanding new topics. Consistently demonstrates willingness to learn and follow through. Previous experience facilitating technical discussions with community experts by keeping discussions on track to achieve desired outcomes.
