Report Developer - ERP Interactive Reports

The Report Developer will participate in a multi-year effort to roll out Interactive Reporting (IR), a Tyler-wide effort to enhance and improve the reporting offerings for our clients. The developer’s primary role will be to replace existing/create new EERP and EAM reports in the new IR platform. Furthermore, the candidate will assist in validating and reconciling report products, as well as collaborate in cross-product reporting projects. This role will have a focus on working across departments and across divisions to ensure a successful roll-out and continued development.
Additionally, there will be opportunities to assist with other Data & Insights applications that integrate directly with EERP and other Tyler and third-party sources. These solutions in turn enable public sector organizations to share data with their constituents, internal employees, and other agencies.

Data Analysis: Analyze and understand data requirements to create reports that provide meaningful insights, support decision-making processes and meet mandated reporting requirements. Report Development: Work with subject matter experts to develop visually appealing and user-friendly reports using Interactive Reporting. Product Development: Validate Interactive Reporting Query Builder and Report Writer tools. Query Writing: Write SoQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from databases, ensuring optimized performance. Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources into a cohesive reporting solution, ensuring data consistency and reliability. Quality Assurance: Work with subject matter experts to conduct thorough testing and validation of reports to ensure accuracy and reliability. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements in report generation processes. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for reports, data sources, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting. User Training: Provide training and support to internal staff on how to access and interpret reports effectively. Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA, when handling sensitive information. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to data integrity, report generation, and user access. Deployment: Assist in client deployment and implementation. Project Management: Manage multiple reporting projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring deliverables are met. Data Governance: Assist in establishing data governance processes and best practices within the organization. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business analysts, and development teams, to gather requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions. Communication: Effectively communicate technical information and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or comparable work experience. Experience with writing or analyzing SQL queries. Familiarity with EERP Genero reports, SSRS, or other reports. Experience in fund accounting and/or experience using Munis Financials/HCM, or equivalent software solution a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
