About the Role

BEE is seeking a collaborative and experienced individual to join our team as a Remediation Project Manager / Building Envelope Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building envelope forensics, with particular focus on property condition assessments, leak investigations, condo rehabilitation, and insurance claims.

This role is designed to grow within our Remediation Department while maintaining a roughly 70-30 ratio of office to field work. You will coordinate with project teams, property managers, HOA boards, and construction teams to deliver successful remediation solutions. This position is full-time and based in BEE's Edmonds office.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and implementation of building envelope remediation projects from initiation to closure

Conduct thorough assessments and inspections of existing building envelope systems to identify deficiencies and vulnerabilities

Develop detailed remediation plans and specifications tailored to each client's specific needs, considering factors such as budget, timeline, and performance outcomes

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of remediation plans

Assist clients in the selection and evaluation of subcontractors, vendors, and materials

Monitor and oversee implementation of building envelope remediation projects, providing regular progress updates

Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and industry standards

Develop and deliver comprehensive reports, presentations, and recommendations to clients

Work closely with HOA boards and property managers on re-side projects and building envelope improvements

Perform leak investigations and develop targeted repair strategies

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to building envelope remediation

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in building envelope remediation, assessment, or related field

BS Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field; P.E. license

Strong knowledge of local building and energy codes, RCW 64.55, and building envelope products/systems

Experience working with HOAs and property managers on building envelope projects

Expertise in conducting property condition assessments and leak investigations

Good technical writing and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with team members in multiple departments

Working knowledge of AutoCAD

Physical Requirements

The successful candidate must be physically capable of performing essential job functions including:

Possess and maintain a valid driver's license for regular travel to work sites

Ability to safely climb and work from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms

Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, frequently in outdoor conditions and various weather environments

Safely navigate and work on steep-pitched roofs and uneven surfaces

Lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment required for building inspections and assessments

Perform repeated climbing, bending, and reaching movements

Work comfortably at various heights and elevated positions

Maintain balance and coordination while performing inspection tasks in elevated locations

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
