Markon's partner company is seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist to support our IC Customer in Fort Meade. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration and Ansible automation, and will be capable of configuring and maintaining virtual machines (VMs) for malware analysis, developing and implementing System Security Plans (SSPs), and delivering solutions to complex cryptologic computer science challenges within a rigorous scientific framework. Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and secure virtual machines (VMs) used for malware analysis and research.

Develop and implement System Security Plans (SSPs) in accordance with federal standards (e.g., NIST, RMF). Automate system deployment and configuration using Ansible. Design and execute experiments to evaluate cryptologic systems and technologies. Research, design, and prototype advanced solutions to challenging computer science problems in cryptographic systems. Apply scientific principles to develop new techniques in data analysis, reverse engineering, and system defense. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including mathematicians, engineers, and cybersecurity analysts. Qualifications

TS/SCI with Active Polygraph Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, with:

Doctorate + 7 years Master's + 9 years Bachelor's + 11 years Associate's + 13 years

Relevant experience in: Computer science (theoretical or applied)

Algorithm design/development

Simulation or modeling

Computational science

Reverse engineering

Mathematical methods

Systems design (hardware/software)

Salary Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
