Overview

We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Infrastructure Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize Kubernetes-based infrastructure solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, containerization, and hybrid cloud strategies. They will work closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

What You'll Get To Do:

Overall Responsibilities:

Design and implement

Kubernetes clusters

across

on-premises data centers and cloud providers

(AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)

Develop and maintain

highly available, scalable, and secure containerized environments

.

Define best practices and governance for

Kubernetes resource management, networking, and security

.

Develop and deploy and API gateways for both Onprem and Cloud.

Work with

DevOps and SRE teams

to automate cluster provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.

Optimize Kubernetes clusters for

performance, cost-efficiency, and resilience

.

Lead migration strategies for

legacy applications

to

containerized and microservices-based architectures

.

Implement

CI/CD pipelines

and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions for automated deployments.

Provide expertise in

service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, Consul)

for networking and security.

Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, ensuring

high availability and disaster recovery strategies

.

Collaborate with security teams to enforce

compliance, policies, and access control

within Kubernetes environments.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

8+ years

of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, or DevOps roles.

5+ years

of hands-on experience with

Kubernetes (K8s)

in production environments.

Expertise in

on-premises Kubernetes solutions

(Rancher, OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, etc.).

Strong knowledge of cloud-based Kubernetes services (

EKS, AKS, GKE

).

Proficiency in

containerization technologies

(Docker, Podman, Containerd).

Experience with

IaC tools

such as Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or Pulumi.

Strong understanding of

networking concepts

(CNI, Ingress, Service Mesh, Load Balancing).

Expertise in

Kubernetes RBAC, security policies, and compliance frameworks

.

Experience with

monitoring and logging solutions

(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Fluentd).

Proficiency in scripting and automation using

Bash, Python, or Go

.

Familiarity with

hybrid and multi-cloud architectures

and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).

Experience with

serverless architectures and edge computing

.

Knowledge of

database and storage integrations

in Kubernetes.

Prior experience in

performance tuning and cost optimization

of K8s workloads.

Other Requirements:

The salary range below is just one component of Panasonic Connect's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
