Summary:
The Computer Network Support Specialist will support planning, engineering, and maintenance of the organization’s systems infrastructure. This includes implementing and designing hardware and software components, and monitoring system performance to ensure reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be familiar with standard IT concepts, practices, and procedures, relying on experience and sound judgment to perform technical tasks. Responsibilities: Assist in planning and engineering network and systems infrastructure. Support implementation and configuration of hardware and software solutions. Monitor and evaluate system performance, proactively resolving issues. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of network systems. Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure upgrades and improvements. Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures. Provide technical support to end users and resolve network issues. Execute assigned tasks and projects with flexibility and initiative. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with standard IT concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Minimum Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in the field or related area. IAT Level II Certification. Top Secret (SCI Eligible) clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Experience in federal or defense environments. Industry-standard technical and network certifications. Pay and Benefits:
The salary range is $85,600 - $96,300 annually.
