Procurement Manager - ESG & Digital Platforms

The Procurement Manager - ESG & Digital Platforms is responsible for ensuring a robust procurement digital ecosystem through stakeholder engagement, operational excellence, and service delivery. This role involves partnering with sourcing, accounts payable, legal, IT, and digital teams to promote effective digital technology use and support the delivery of the Procurement ESG program. The manager will design ChampionX's sustainable strategic sourcing strategy and represent procurement on ESG forums. Enhance procurement processes and systems. Engage with business leaders and subject matter experts on digital and procurement improvements. Support P2P automation and stakeholder adoption. SAP S/4HANA Procurement Rollout: Support implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA procurement modules. Identify process improvements within S/4HANA framework. Provide training and support for system adoption. Coordinate with IT and stakeholders to align with business goals. Monitor rollout progress and support data migration activities. Procurement ESG Program: Drive sustainability initiatives using data analytics. Manage vendor ESG vetting and compliance. Train procurement team on sustainability and ESG strategies. Improve sustainability in sourcing and supplier management. Talent Management: Support employee growth and development. Lead special projects and initiatives. Key Behaviors / Competencies: Must Have: Experience in supply chain sustainability and ESG initiatives. Strong supplier relationship management and continuous improvement skills. Effective communication and data analysis skills. Ability to work collaboratively across global teams. Leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Preferred: Experience with carbon emissions, modern slavery, and supplier diversity programs. Knowledge of industry best practices and enabling technologies. Development of governance and due diligence strategies. Procurement process efficiency improvements. Minimum Education and Experience: Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Sustainability, or Procurement. Procurement experience from clients, contractors, or consulting firms. Knowledge of responsible sourcing issues. Autonomous work ethic and SAP systems experience. Proven success in managing multiple projects.
