Annual Bonus and Sign-on bonus Our client is seeking to add a Commercial Auto Liability - Home Office Claims Consultant to their New England operations. This position involves overseeing claim handling performance of third-party administrators (TPAs), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency at all levels. Primarily overseeing moderate to complex (including litigation) Commercial Auto, Bodily Injury, and Property losses throughout the New England region. Key Responsibilities: Actively oversee and provide direction on a portfolio of Commercial Auto, Bodily Injury, and Property claims while providing clear guidance and appropriate authority to third-party claims administrators on coverage analysis, reserves, settlements, and service-related decisions. Assist in recognizing major claims requiring higher authority or specialized handling and contribute to related reporting, including preparation of Large Loss Summaries. Quickly identify and escalate significant claims, including potential litigation matters, to internal management and legal teams for timely coordination and response. Review, evaluate, and provide authorization for reserves, settlement negotiations, and denial recommendations submitted by third-party administrators. Routinely audit TPA processes and performance to confirm compliance with established protocols, highlighting areas for improvement and ensuring cost-effective vendor utilization. Ensure TPAs adhere strictly to company-established policies and procedures and consistently achieve predefined service-level agreements. Provide support and training to junior claims staff and other stakeholders as necessary to strengthen overall claim management capabilities. Qualifications: 5 - 10+ years of experience handling and/or overseeing Commercial Auto claims. Well versed in coverage analysis, risk transfer, policy interpretation, setting reserves, and negotiating settlements. Must have claims experience with an Insurance Carrier and/or TPA. Strong background in property casualty claims, with highly regarded litigation experience. Must possess an active adjuster’s license. Proficiency in interpreting lease agreements and related documents. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders. Salary and Benefits: Base salary range: $100,000 to $130,000, dependent on experience, plus annual bonus.
