Integration Developer
reporting to the Director of Data & Analytics, based in Midland, TX or The Woodlands, TX. The ideal candidate will build solutions that streamline business processes by automating data flow between applications. You will work closely with the Data & Analytics team on projects that enhance operational efficiency in a dynamic oil and gas environment. Responsibilities
Design and develop automation solutions, including custom software components and APIs to automate data flow between enterprise systems. Build, maintain, and optimize APIs (REST, SOAP) and work with data formats like JSON, CSV, XML for seamless application communication. Design and support ETL/ELT data pipelines using platforms like Databricks. Analyze systems to identify performance issues and implement best practices in code and architecture. Collaborate with business teams, vendors, and IT to ensure solutions meet operational needs. Create technical documentation and adhere to coding standards. Mentor less experienced team members (for senior candidates). Minimum Qualifications
Proven software development experience, with proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or C++. Experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) and SQL databases. Expertise in API design, security, and authentication. Experience with RPA platforms (Microsoft Power Automate) and low-code tools (Power Apps). Knowledge of data formats and ETL/ELT frameworks like dbt. At least 3 years in the oil and gas industry, with familiarity with related datasets and workflows. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
