Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a
Quality Analyst - Customer Support
at our Euclid, Ohio facility! With over 300 employees, our Euclid, OH facility specializes in the manufacturing and repair of main engine fuel pumps, airframe pumps and aftermarket repairs. This site serves both commercial and military aviation.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67,500 - $99,000. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You’ll Do The Quality Analyst is responsible for representing customer interests relative to agreed upon quality requirements. Responsible for representing company interests relative to delivery, manufacturing, safety, and profit margins. In addition, supports issues such as MRB review, Cost Out, Reduction in DPPM, and Improvement Initiatives.
In This Function You Will
Obtain customer and regulatory specific training and maintain customer and regulatory certifications to fully support product manufacturing and delivery.
Perform contract review to ensure that a thorough understanding of customer quality requirements is communicated to Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams and that all products delivered meet quality requirements.
Work with customer, government, and other regulatory representatives to interpret and reach agreement on Quality procedures, and acceptability of products and assure compliance with the specified customer and government requirements.
Respond to customer corrective action requests including full root cause analysis, determination of permanent corrective actions, and implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.
Investigate and resolve internal and external product quality problems utilizing quality functional tools such as statistical and analytical tools, PFMEAs, and process capability studies.
Interface with customer portals to ensure accurate flow of information. Download customer specifications and quality requirements for review, upload corrective actions, source change, and concessions / MRB data.
Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, customers, and suppliers to improve processes and develop methods to eliminate quality problems. Position requires interaction with external customers and internal personnel at all levels of the organization. Interaction often involves providing the controlled interface between an Eaton manufacturing supplier (both internal and external) and the Eaton customer.
Utilize product audit process to suggest process and/or design changes to improve manufacturability and/or yield. Implement standard work; identify cost out opportunities to drive continuous improvements in products and processes.
Perform internal audits to verify site compliance with Eaton QMS.
Maintain accurate records to comply with company, regulatory, and customer record retention requirements.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in an Engineering or Business program from an accredited school.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in a quality position.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
Minimum one (1) year of experience as a manufacturing quality engineer.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, Ohio. Active Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware subject to ITAR. All applicants must be US persons as defined by ITAR (e.g., US Citizen, Green Card Holder, Political Asylee, Refugee).
Preferred Qualifications:
Three (3) years’ experience in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
Three (3) years’ experience as a customer quality representative (DSQR).
Three (3) years’ experience as a manufacturing quality engineer.
Two (2) years’ experience as an FAA DMIR.
Position Criteria
Thorough working knowledge of AS9100 standards.
Expected to learn and become site expert on customer quality requirements.
Excellent communication skills, including electronic, verbal, written, and documentation of communications.
Product definition / Eaton engineering drawings and specifications, thorough working knowledge.
Metrology, GD&T, hands-on measuring or oversight of measurement methods/techniques.
Responsibility for customer on-site audits and outcomes.
