The Controls Engineer provides technical support and programming for manufacturing system designs and modifications. Job Duties
Supports equipment programming for manufacturing processes. Programs inputs/outputs for robots. Maintains support and programming of robots. Troubleshoots software and hardware issues. Loads software packages. Prepares project documentation. Develops and installs vision systems. Develops system upgrades. Programs PLCs. Reads, interprets, and applies lessons learned from electrical schematic drawings, manuals, and regulations. Requirements
Experience with automotive plastic injection molding and assembly. Ability to program robot input/outputs and interfaces. Proficiency in programming robots. Knowledge of software and hardware systems. Ability to read electrical schematic drawings. Strong computer skills. 3-5 years of experience with controls in an automotive environment. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related engineering field. Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Motivated, detail-oriented, and service-oriented. Enthusiastic about challenges and new initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects.
