Job Summary
As a Project Manager at Hill & Wilkinson, you will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large commercial construction projects valued between $10 million and $100 million. Your key responsibilities include developing project schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring all work aligns with client specifications and regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project progression. Your role will involve problem-solving, risk management, and maintaining clear and effective communication with all parties. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proven history of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities
Planning and Scheduling: Developing a detailed project plan, creating a construction schedule, and anticipating potential bottlenecks to mitigate risks. Budget Management: Monitoring project costs, negotiating with vendors, and making informed decisions to stay within budget constraints. Risk Management: Identifying potential issues throughout the project lifecycle and taking proactive measures to minimize negative impacts. Resource Allocation: Effectively managing the allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient project execution. Contract Management: Reviewing and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Communication: Maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Quality Control: Overseeing quality standards and ensuring that work is completed to specifications. Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety regulations on the construction site and addressing safety concerns. Leadership: Inspiring and motivating the project team, making informed decisions, and delegating tasks effectively.
