is an independent Munich production house for interactive entertainment. Covering everything from HR, finance and legal support, business development, business intelligence, and (creative) production,

is also the ‘mothership’ for a family of more than 15 established gaming companies worldwide. These studios operate across the interactive entertainment industry, developing projects with the support of
rcp . The group comprises over 500 individuals working across Europe and Asia.
Our portfolio includes over 400 projects, such as Songs of Silence, the Bus Simulator series, Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Evolution, Windstorm, Sacred Legends, Shadow and Bone, and The Ascent. We have also worked on internal VR projects for BMW, platforms for Teva, and training games for the Bundeswehr.
We are actively engaged in the broader industry ecosystem, working on politics, education, awareness, representation, culture, and social issues.
Role Overview As
Business Development Manager/Sales at rcp , you will be responsible for pitching and selling our studios' game projects to top-tier publishers and clients worldwide. You will secure new partnerships for original IPs and facilitate work-for-hire deals, directly impacting our developers' success.
You will also serve as a strategic BizBuddy for selected studios, acting as a commercial sparring partner, shaping long-term strategies, and challenging business decisions when necessary. You will be part of the studio’s Strikeforce, the core decision-making group, ensuring a balance between creative ambitions and commercial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Business development for the rcp family of developers, with a focus on sales
Pitch and sell game projects to publishers and potential clients
Manage customer solutions and work-for-hire sales
Assess feasibility, profitability, and risks with other departments
Identify and secure potential clients
Contribute creative ideas for pitches and consultation services
Manage customer relationships and stakeholder interactions
Attend trade shows, conventions, and matchmaking events
Research market trends and industry intelligence
Explore expansion opportunities, joint ventures, and distribution partnerships
Candidate Profile
Proven success as a Sales Manager with a strong track record
Deep knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices
Experience applying structured sales processes to develop and close opportunities
Confidence in selling and negotiating at all decision levels
Industry experience in gaming and understanding of the sector
Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
Highly energetic, self-motivated, and sales-driven
Proficiency with CRM tools and clear reporting
Organized, goal-oriented, and innovative
Team player with strong collaboration skills
Ability to analyze trends and develop actionable strategies
Fluent in business English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
Knowledge of funding, pitching, negotiating, or structuring deals is advantageous
