Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our New Product Integration (NPI) team, focusing on vitreous, plastics, and electronics development and industrialization. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our Transformative Innovation new product development delivery.

Specific Responsibilities

Lead the development and integration of new vitreous, plastic, and electronic products at Kohler manufacturing locations.

Integrate new products and processes that meet or exceed safety, quality, cost, timing, and delivery metrics for both Product Development and Manufacturing Operations.

Manage manufacturing stakeholder readiness activities and timing for successful new product launches.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Industrial Design.

Proactively propose and implement solutions that ensure manufacturability without compromising the consumer value proposition.

Provide manufacturing input into new product designs (Design for Manufacture).

Create new product build plans and manage build/launch events to achieve launch metrics and ramp-up plans.

Lead and participate in cross-functional program and launch readiness forums, providing regular updates.

Coordinate the development of manufacturing environments, equipment, and processes required for product programs.

Conduct project assessments to establish investment and resource requirements for program viability.

Develop and maintain new product program budgets for manufacturing costs and capital expenditures.

Ensure compliance with requirements and the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

Monitor all launch readiness activities, manage risks, and escalate issues to key stakeholders and leadership teams.

Skills/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Ceramic/Materials, or Mechanical Engineering.

4+ years of product development and manufacturing experience.

Experience in the vitreous or plastics industry is preferred.

Production Operations Knowledge – understanding of complex production lines.

Strong knowledge of design for manufacture, process design, process validation, and assembly methods.

Experience working in SAP preferred.

Excellent communication skills, organized, and attentive to detail.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings or CAD models.
