Full Time Salary Range:

$52,000.00 - $60,000.00 Develops, implements, and directs Faith Formation Programs for preschool, elementary children, middle school youth, and their families. Coordinates Vacation Bible Camp with the assistance of the Pastoral Associate. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assures the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan for children and family faith formation for preschool and elementary children, including Sunday School programs and a Family Faith Sunday program providing a catechesis approach for families to participate in monthly. Ensures the development and implementation of sacramental preparation programs for First Reconciliation, First Communion, Youth Confirmation, and OCIA for Older Children, including maintaining necessary records. Recruits, trains, and oversees parish volunteer catechists, aides, and support personnel; facilitates opportunities for volunteers' faith growth. Coordinates and implements Vacation Bible Camp, providing faith formation to children within and beyond the parish community. Ensures programs integrate well into parish and school communities. Maintains communication with families via newsletters, emails, and the parish website to share Catholic faith. Coordinates pastoral care for families in the programs, collaborating with parish staff, St. Vincent de Paul, and outreach services. Develops and manages the budget for faith formation, including purchasing materials and resources within the available budget. Maintains current knowledge and skills through reading, workshops, and participation in relevant organizations. Collaborates with the Pastor, staff, and groups to implement the parish mission, attending meetings and promoting faith formation activities. Qualifications

Skills and Talents Minimum of an undergraduate degree in social work, counseling, or a related field. At least two years of leadership experience and/or certification in children and family faith formation. Strong organizational skills, including volunteer management and scheduling. Tech-savvy: proficient in office technologies and social media; willing to learn new tools. Excellent communication skills for interacting with parish and community members. A genuine commitment to the mission of the Church and understanding of parish life. Active practicing Roman Catholic. Reliable transportation; mileage reimbursement provided. Must pass a background check prior to hire. Note: Salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills, experience, and relevant certifications.
