Power BI, Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL Server Key Responsibilities: Transitioning Epic's Clarity database and other schemas from Oracle to SQL Server will be a complex, highly visible, high impact project. The current data and analytics environment relies on Oracle's database as a foundation for data storage, including Epic's Clarity database. The Clarity ODS on Oracle, across several production and non-production environments, represents approximately XXTB of data (Prod) with XX0+ customized schemas. This is the source for over X,00X Crystal reports, over X,00X Power BI assets, and over X,X0X data feeds that deliver data to strategic partners, vendors, researchers, etc. Additional advantages can be achieved by migrating to SQL Server including performance, cost-effectiveness and compatibility with other tools. DataStage, Power BI and Crystal Reports are current components of the existing data ecosystem. These objects/programs will need to be modified and refactored in order to read/write from the new database platform. The Role is responsible for: Collaborating with members of the Analytics team, as well as clinical and operations partners, to develop new analytics assets and improve existing ones. Conducting rigorous testing and validation at each stage of the migration process. Implementing parallel database operation to ensure a seamless transition with high quality results. Write and refactor reports from other data sources or in the new SQL environment, Epic Reporting Workbench, and other data delivery mechanisms.
