A Guidewire developer

is required for a leading Lloyd's of London Insurance organisation, implementing a Guidewire Claims system. This is to join a brand-new team onboarding & implementing a Guidewire Claims system. You will have experience working with Guidewire, across either PolicyCenter BillingCenter or ClaimsCenter.

As this is an initial migration & implementation you will be essential in assisting the organisation migrate from their existing claims platform to Claims Center which will be hosted in Guidewires Cloud. Ability to interact with stakeholders & to be involved in decisions affecting the implementation due to go live in 2026 is essential. You will have experience customising Guidewire in Gosu.

Key Responsibilities

Develop & maintain Guidewire customisable layer for insurance platforms in Gosu & Java.

Experience with Guidewire for Policy Center, Claims Center or Billing Center

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements & deliver solutions.

Ensure code quality through testing & code reviews.

Provide technical support & troubleshooting for production issues.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong development skills in Gosu for Guidewire (3-5 years of experience).

Experience in programming languages such as Java or C#.Net

Familiarity with insurance industry standards & protocols.

Excellent problem-solving skills & attention to detail.

Strong communication skills & ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
