Software Developer
Responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and testing software for the ECR RA team; collaborate with the development team and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in a dynamic Agile environment; develop and support Enterprise Credit Risk ETL platform; develop unit, integration, regression, performance, test scripts, and test suites for the framework; follow Agile development process for work refinement, estimation, and retrospective rituals; utilize SQL Server, Oracle Exadata, Big Data, PY Spark, Hadoop, Snap logic, Teradata, Netezza, MicroStrategy, Autosys, ETL, and Tableau to perform duties; interface with users and other team members, understand requirements, and engineer and analyze solution options; communicate solutions effectively to teams; engage Architecture Team as needed during development and support; and participate in POCs and evaluate tools and technologies. Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US; Salary: $160,805 per year (standard benefits apply); Minimum Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Data Engineer, as a Software Developer, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: SQL Server, Oracle Exadata, Big Data, PY Spark, Hadoop, Snap logic, Teradata, Netezza, MicroStrategy, Autosys, ETL, and Tableau. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience. Because referrals have and continue to produce some of our best performing consultants nationwide, Genesis10 will reward you for your referrals by paying you a referral fee of $1000.00 which shall be paid in 2 installments: First Installment: $500.00 when the candidate begins an assignment through Genesis10 at our client Second Installment: $500.00 after the candidate has been on assignment for a minimum period of 6 months. The candidate must still be on billing at the time the second payment is due for you to be eligible to receive it. Installments are typically mailed out towards the end of the qualifying month. Please note that depending on when your referral started his/her assignment, payment may not be received until the following month.
