What you'll do...
Own and manage virtual infrastructure across VMware and Azure, including VM provisioning, patching, decommissioning, and performance tuning
Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure IaaS resources - virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and load balancers
Automate deployments and operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI, ensuring repeatability and efficiency
Manage enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS) with a focus on capacity planning and performance
Administer endpoint patching, vulnerability management, and imaging
Implement enterprise-grade backup and disaster recovery platforms to protect critical systems and ensure business continuity
Collaborate with security and cloud teams to support backup solutions and maintain compliance across infrastructure
What we're looking for...
Deep hands-on experience managing virtual environments in Azure and VMware Strong command of infrastructure-as-code principles using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Bicep Solid grasp of Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN gateways), identity basics, and resource governance Experience administering and troubleshooting storage infrastructure across SAN/NAS platforms Proficient in using endpoint and vulnerability management tools in large environments Familiarity with enterprise-grade data protection and disaster recovery platforms Bonus: Experience migrating workloads from VMware to Azure Virtual Machines
