Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and conduct
qualitative and quantitative user research
to support the development of web-based products and features.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify research questions and prioritize learning goals.
Use a variety of research methods such as
user interviews ,
surveys ,
usability testing ,
card sorting ,
field studies , and
heuristic evaluations .
Analyze and synthesize research data to produce
actionable insights ,
personas ,
user journey maps , and
opportunity areas .
Partner with designers during concept development and with developers during implementation to ensure research-backed decisions are honored.
Leverage
web analytics ,
heatmaps
(e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg), and
session recordings
to supplement primary research.
Support and drive continuous user feedback loops for
iterative design improvements .
Communicate findings through compelling reports, presentations, and visual storytelling tailored to diverse stakeholders.
Promote a culture of user-centricity and contribute to the growth of research maturity across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in
UX research , preferably in
web-based product
or
digital platform
environments.
Strong knowledge of both
exploratory
and
evaluative research methods .
Hands-on experience planning and executing studies in fast-paced, Agile teams.
Ability to triangulate findings using data from multiple sources (e.g., behavioral, attitudinal, analytical).
Familiarity with
web implementation constraints
(performance, accessibility, SEO).
Experience with research and testing tools (e.g., UserTesting.com, Lookback, Optimal Workshop, Maze, Dovetail).
Understanding of
heatmap
and
analytics tools
(e.g., GA4, Hotjar, Crazy Egg).
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence product decisions with clarity and confidence.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 52,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 182,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role. Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
