AdventHealth Division · AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine, and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and transitional year. · AdventHealth Tampa is home to the renowned AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, a leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and research – caring for Tampa Bay’s hearts for over 35 years. · The Kiran C. Patel Research Institute at AdventHealth Tampa leads in clinical and academic research in neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, and surgery, contributing to future cures for conditions like heart failure and cancer. The role you’ll contribute: Oversees site-based Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) program, monitors workflow, productivity, and quality, develops departmental goals, supports performance improvement, and assists in budget and work plan development. The value you’ll bring to the team: Ensures staff competency through reviews and assessments, provides feedback, leads hiring and training, mentors staff, and develops policies. Develops educational programs on regulatory changes and gaps in documentation. Acts as a contact for Physician Documentation Improvement designee and site administration. Partners with coding leadership to ensure accuracy of DRG assignments. Manages administrative tasks and participates in CDI committees. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Associate's degree in Nursing required. 1+ years of related experience required. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in FL required. CCDS - Certified Cardiac Device Specialist required. International medical graduates must hold degrees recognized by ECFMG.
