The
Network Specialist - Journeyman
supports mission-essential operations within the agency. Working closely with senior engineers and government personnel, this position contributes to network planning, analysis, integration, and maintenance efforts across secure DoD enclaves. Job Duties
Assist in conducting daily network health checks, configuration reviews, and basic compliance assessments Help identify and reduce single points of failure and improve redundancy Support documentation and reporting of network status and findings Minimum Qualifications
Active Top Secret, with SCI eligibility 35 years of professional experience in network administration, engineering, or IT infrastructure roles Familiarity with secure government networks (SIPRNet, NIPRNet, JWICS, SCI) Experience with basic network configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring tools Understanding of DoD security standards and STIG compliance processes Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ CE (DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant required) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Network+ or equivalent ITIL Foundations preferred Company Overview
