We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Data & AI Solutions Architect who will lead the design and implementation of innovative data solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric. In this crucial role, you will serve as the "Solution Orchestrator" for various data-centric projects, driving architecture and engineering for scalable, high-performance data platforms. Your energy and expertise will enable our enterprise clients to fully leverage their data using modern data engineering practices and the unique features of Microsoft Fabric. Responsibilities: Presales Engagement:
Collaborate with sales teams to identify client needs and challenges. Design and present customized solutions that address both business and technical objectives. Lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, and assessments to evaluate current infrastructures and pinpoint modernization opportunities. Create detailed technical proposals that include architectural design, implementation roadmaps, and cost estimates. Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs), aligning closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction. Drive professional services revenue growth through new opportunity identification and service optimization. Microsoft Fabric Expertise:
Design and architect comprehensive data solutions with Microsoft Fabric, covering OneLake, Data Factory, Spark, data warehousing, and real-time analytics. Be the subject matter expert on Microsoft Fabric, providing guidance and technical leadership to the presales team. Implement best practices for OneLake architecture, data pipeline design, and data warehousing within the Fabric ecosystem. Data Architecture & Engineering:
Lead the design of data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions on Azure. Develop ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline architectures. Create data warehousing and data lake solutions, alongside real-time data streaming and processing architectures utilizing Azure Event Hubs and Azure Stream Analytics. Leverage Azure DevOps for CI/CD in data engineering and infrastructure as code. Provide advice on performance tuning and optimization techniques for Azure data systems. Synergistic Collaboration:
Work closely with the Data Governance Architect to ensure compliance with data governance policies in data pipelines. Collaborate with the AI Architect to develop reliable, scalable data structures for AI/ML workloads and LLM applications. Make use of Microsoft Purview to enhance data engineering workflows. Client Engagement:
Conduct comprehensive client discovery sessions to address data challenges and business goals. Develop and deliver impactful technical proposals, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts that illustrate the value of Microsoft Fabric and our data solutions. Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance and technical support. Qualifications: Experience:
A minimum of 10 years in data architecture and engineering, with extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services. Proven success in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions and robust presales experience focused on data architecture and engineering. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Spark, data warehousing, real-time analytics), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database. Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline design. Experience in real-time data streaming and processing, Azure DevOps, and infrastructure as code. Familiarity with Microsoft Purview. Soft Skills:
Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. Capability to operate independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting. Strong skills in client relationship management. Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; Master's degree is preferred. Preferred Microsoft Certifications:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203), Azure Data Analyst Associate (DA-100/DA-200), Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300). The base salary for this position is $128,000-$176,000. The estimated on-target earnings (OTE), which includes the base salary and bonus/commissions, range from $160,000 to $220,000. Compensation varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Benefits include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
