Actalent Job Title: Integration & Test System Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled System Engineer to support both pre-sales and post-sales activities for our EO/IR systems. This role bridges the gap between our sales, product, and engineering teams, ensuring customers receive expert guidance during the evaluation phase and seamless support after deployment. A key component of this position also involves collaborating closely with partners and integrators to ensure smooth system integration and alignment with their specific operational needs.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions for EO/IR systems, including integration with other sensors and Command and Control (C2) systems. Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements specific to EO/IR technologies and multi-sensor interoperability. Respond to RFPs/RFIs and assist in the creation of technical documentation and proposals, ensuring solutions align with both EO/IR and C2 system requirements. Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, addressing technical objections and providing insights into seamless sensor and C2 system integration to meet business goals. Support onboarding and implementation of EO/IR solutions, ensuring successful deployment and integration. Provide technical training and documentation to customers and internal teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering 2+ years in a technical systems integration and test role integrating both hardware and software Strong understanding of EO/IR technologies and systems preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Independent, responsible, proactive, and capable of leading systemic issues Hands-on capabilities in the field of electro-optical products Experience with CRM and support tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Work Environment
You'll be part of a very tight-knit team in an office of less than 10 people, which is a mix of technical field support and corporate personnel. You'll get the opportunity to travel up to 50% of the time in this role.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $57.69/hr.
