AM/NS Calvert Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or 2+ years of experience in Production Scheduling, Supply Chain Management or Production Planning Proficient in Excel including VBA PowerBI and/or BOBJ experience; comfortable creating SQL queries 2+ years of continuous production environment experience The Extras: Experience with planning and scheduling tools Programming experience Experience in metals manufacturing TRAITS TO BE SUCCESSFUL Detailed understanding of manufacturing product flow, data flow, manufacturing constraints and objectives in the order life cycle Ability to learn planning and scheduling tools to become subject matter expert Strong accountability ensuring timely delivery of projects Demonstrates the company values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Relationships, and Sustainability Fulfills the commitment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment Fulfills the responsibilities required to achieve the Quality commitment Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by fostering an environment that embodies trust and respect WHAT YOULL BE DOING Identifying areas of improvement within the production planning function Managing small to medium change projects independently Liaising with the IT department on production planning projects Defining scope and requirements towards IT function, following up, and being first line of testing Supporting operations by providing timely reporting as needed including creating, maintaining, and updating report tools YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT Office and Industrial setting Gulf coast region in Calvert, AL Days, Monday to Friday with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads Please note: The Job Profile is only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
