For more information about MTSI, please visit . Responsibilities : Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to join our team. You will provide full-time dedicated support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Space Systems (MDA / SS), located at Schriever AFB, CO (Missile Defense Integration Operations Center (MDIOC). You will be supporting an innovative, highly technical and fast-paced ground system supporting multiple MDA / SS assets. This critical program will procure, test and deliver a ground system in support of the warfighting combatant commands. Specific Skills Required : Capable of executing tasks associated with acquisition and program management for complex ground systems Experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space based program and / or a DoD ground system Demonstrated experience supporting and interacting on a daily basis with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand) Experience working Operational and Developmental Testing programs Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution Capable of working independently or leading teams in the solving of problems Demonstrated capability to develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership Experience analyzing acquisition and program management products such as acquisition strategies and plans, program execution data and contract attributes (, contract type, contract structure, award and incentive fee plans) Expertise applying systems engineering principles and processes to support MDA acquisitions programs. Assist with requirements definition / analysis and reviews Expertise translating technical requirements into contract requirements Experience developing and authoring major acquisition and contracting documentation Experience working Other Transactions and expertise in Other Transaction Authorities Experience in developing and executing test plans Qualifications : 6-8 years’ of experience in MDA, Department of Defense (DoD), or other large organizations in Program Management and / or Acquisition Superior proficiency in MS Office suite and IT tools Outstanding written and oral communication skills Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree preferred Current Secret Security Clearance Required, Top Secret is preferred Citizenship is required for this position Desired Skills : Experience with MDA test activities or other major program system or systems testing Experience with Command and Control centers Familiarity (or recent experience) working Space-centric acquisitions including the developing / evolving space architecture structures, national defense satellite programs, (USSF), and Combatant Commands Knowledge of DoD / MDA acquisition streamlining initiatives Experience in one or more MDA program offices highly desirable Please Note : Pay Range : The pay range for this position in Colorado is $80,000 / year to $120,000 / year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
