Part-Time Architectural Drafter

Are you a skilled and experienced Architectural Drafter seeking a part-time opportunity with a rewarding company?

We are seeking a part-time Architectural Drafter to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area. This position offers a flexible work schedule with the potential for growth and development.

About the Role:

• Drafting & Design: You will be responsible for producing high-quality architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, for a variety of residential projects.
• Project Support: You will work closely with the design team to analyze and solve design issues, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
• Technical Expertise: You will possess a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes, with a particular focus on high-end residential construction.

Who You Are:

• Proficient in CAD Software: You are proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-Oriented: You are highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy and quality.
• A Team Player: You are a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experienced Professional: You have experience in creating full construction documents for residential projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on high-end residential projects (>$1 million).
• Knowledge of the North Carolina building code.
• Experience with shop drawings for millwork and custom furniture details.

Benefits:

• Flexible Schedule: This is a part-time position requiring at least 3 days of in-office work per week, with a minimum of 24 hours per week.
• Competitive Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 dependent on experience and education.
