A well-established and nationally recognized legal team is seeking an experienced trusts and estates attorney with at least four years of relevant experience. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in high-net-worth estate planning and administration, offering strategic counsel on wealth transfer, taxation, and charitable giving. Key Responsibilities
Provide legal guidance on trust and estate planning, focusing on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies. Advise on estate and income taxation, succession planning, lifetime gifting, and charitable giving. Work with high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and tax-exempt organizations to structure and implement comprehensive estate plans. Collaborate across disciplines, including corporate, real estate, employment, and litigation, to provide holistic legal solutions. Stay current on state and federal tax laws impacting estate planning. Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Minimum of four years of experience handling private client matters, trusts, and estates. Strong knowledge of tax and succession planning. Exceptional client service, legal analysis, and drafting skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
