Technical Data Privacy Analyst We’re hiring on behalf of a leading energy and smart home technology company
seeking a
Technical Data Privacy Analyst
to support the design and implementation of scalable privacy solutions across enterprise products and services. This is a highly cross-functional, data-centric role with exposure to Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT, and Data Governance teams. You’ll work hands-on with tools like OneTrust, implement privacy-by-design principles, and support privacy impact assessments (PIAs), product integrations, and regulatory alignment (CCPA, GDPR, etc.). Key Responsibilities: Develop logic and configurations for Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and operational privacy controls Configure platforms like
OneTrust
to support privacy workflows (data mapping, inventory, risk assessments) Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to embed
privacy by design Support software development lifecycle with
data privacy, protection, and usability
best practices Implement technologies like
encryption, anonymization, and pseudonymization Perform ongoing technical privacy assessments and guide mitigation strategies Support internal audits, regulatory inquiries, and incident response activities What We’re Looking For: 2+ years
in privacy, compliance, data engineering, or technical privacy roles Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field Proficiency with
OneTrust
(or similar privacy tech platforms) Working knowledge of
data protection techniques
(encryption, anonymization, etc.) Experience supporting
data governance, mapping, and inventory Ability to collaborate across legal, technical, and operational stakeholders Seniority level
