Job Description
Summary of Position:
The Global Markets Post Trade IT team covers the four global-market business lines:
Macro/Commodities, GSF, Equity Solutions and Credit. Our dynamic team is a mix of software developers and IT business analysts.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help assist in the delivery of a new equity back-office system.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of equity financial instruments and business practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Proficient in C# •Good knowledge of Angular (experienced with versions 9+) (3+ years) •Ability to design and architect software solutions
Technical Ownership: •Take responsibility for supporting both in-house and external software solutions. •Ensure high quality deliverables •Improve technical documentation
Requirements Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as software engineer in equity solutions. Knowledge of one or several domains: Post trade booking for equity solutions Knowledge of Financial products: Equity options, Repos, Stock borrow/ lending Experience with Broker Dealer systems, i.e., Phase 3/Shadow Suite Well-versed in Agile practices and methodologies. Strong technical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
