Job Description:
Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking an experienced Software Developer 2 to support application development and maintenance efforts. The selected candidate will work onsite in Austin, Texas, as part of an Agile team, contributing to the design, implementation, testing, and support of enterprise applications using Microsoft and Oracle technologies.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and modify computer programs using C#, ASP.NET, Angular, Oracle PL/SQL, and REST APIs. Perform unit and integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards. Collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, and other developers. Support production issues and perform enhancements to existing applications. Assist in documentation and knowledge transfer activities. Engage in Agile ceremonies and maintain communication with project managers. Minimum Requirements:
Skill / Experience Required Years C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework 5 Coding, debugging, and resolving performance issues 5 Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, CLI, component-based design) 5 PL/SQL with Oracle Database design 5 Logical processing, systems design, and program specifications 5 Strong oral and written communication 5 Effective interpersonal collaboration 5 IT industry trends and business relevance 4 Architecture principles and IT infrastructure 4 Corporate data protection practices and tools 4 Agile/Scrum methodology 4
Preferred:
Experience with enterprise information architecture (2 years) Familiarity with global/regional/local software infrastructure (2 years)
