Home Time:
Enjoy weekly home time, with potential for mid-week breaks. Work schedule typically Monday through Friday, with occasional Sunday departures. Your primary responsibility will involve transporting aluminum and plastic extrusions, among other building products, using curtainside flatbeds or vans. Coverage Area:
Your routes will include states such as South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Missouri, Ohio, and Virginia. No tarping required, and all necessary securement straps will be provided to ensure safe transport of cargo. Benefits: Paid time off including 8 paid holidays. Qualifications: Must reside within a 100-mile radius. 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years. Must be 21 years of age or older. Valid Class A CDL is required. No reckless driving convictions within the last 5 years. No DUI convictions within the last 5 years. No suspensions or revocations in the last 5 years. No serious violations in the previous 12 months. No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the last 3 years. Essential Functions: Load and unload freight with a lifting requirement of up to 80 lbs. Move freight with a force requirement of 54 lbs. Open and close trailer doors with a force requirement of 46 lbs. Count freight accurately and complete necessary fuel tickets. Obtain sales leads as needed. Hook and unhook trailers (Class A only) with a force requirement of 90 lbs. Perform pre-trip inspections and drive safely. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Enter and exit a commercial motor vehicle safely. Access the rear of the trailer from ground level.
