Job Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Madison, WI

Selectek has partnered with a leading company in Madison, WI, to find a talented and motivated Controls Engineer to join their team. This is a contract-to-direct opportunity with excellent potential for long-term growth.
About the Role:
Control System Design: You will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning control systems, including PLC programming (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000), HMI/SCADA development (AVEVA/Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, Rockwell RSView/FactoryTalk Ignition), and production network design and configuration. Project Support: You will create and maintain BOMs, generate reports (using SQL Server Reporting and Dream Reports), and support the resolution of engineering challenges. Technical Expertise: You will have a strong understanding of control system architectures, including safety circuits, PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, robotics, and automation networks.
Who You Are:
Experienced Professional: You have 3-5 years of experience in controls engineering. Technically Proficient: You are proficient in Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000), HMI/SCADA software (AVEVA/Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, Rockwell RSView/FactoryTalk Ignition), and have experience with control panel design. A Strong Communicator: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Detail-Oriented: You are detail-oriented and results-driven, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
