Ab Initio Administrator - Remote
• Background in ETL tools/data/metadata/data lakes
• 8+ years with Ab Initio doing installations, upgrades, configurations, and maintenance
2+ years' experience with containers/containerizations tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc)
• 2+ years implementing Ab Initio Platform using GKE
• Strong knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of on-prem and cloud (GCP) installations
• 3+ years hands on experience with Ab Initio ETL tool.
• 2+ years hands on experience as an Ab Initio System Administrator
• 2+ years hands on experience with web architecture and the appropriate technology stacks such as Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere, or JBOSS
• 2+ years hands on experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes.
• • Strong knowledge of Redhat Linux and OpenShift operating systems and networking concepts.
• Strong knowledge with one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, Go, or scripting in Shell or PowerShell and Perl.
• Good understanding of storage, load balancers, virtualization, web, database and messaging services with the ability to dive deep into any of these areas when necessary
• • Experience with Continuous Integration using modern DevOps tools and workflows such as Git, GitHub, Jira.
• • Knowledge in writing Ansible Playbooks from scratch using YAML functions.
• • Understanding all aspects of cloud security product definition including vendor integration, platform integration and monitoring for cloud platforms including but not limited to AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
