EMI/EMC Analyst - Space Exploration Avionics Systems
to join the JETS II team. Please note, this is a potential opening; we are actively recruiting, but the position has not yet been finalized or opened. We are proceeding with candidate identification and interviews in anticipation of approval. The
EMI/EMC Analyst
will: Report to the Electronics and Electrical Section Manager, as part of a team of 45 engineers. Support EMI/EMC testing at NASA Johnson Space Center and other locations. Assist with testing on space-flight electronic hardware, including developing test requirements, plans, and procedures. Witness tests, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and prepare reports. Participate in design reviews, analyses, and assessments for EMI/EMC compliance. Support design engineers with circuitry, grounding, and cable design reviews. Contribute to modeling, simulation, and hardware testing efforts. Perform system-level EMC/EMI risk analysis and recommend design improvements. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2-5 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of MIL-STD-461 standards and EMI/EMC testing equipment. Preferred candidates will have experience with space systems, EMI/EMC compliance, and related analysis tools. Why join us? We offer career growth, a 9/80 work schedule, onsite amenities, and more.
