At WVRC Kenosha, were looking for a confident and compassionate Medical Director to guide our hospital into its next exciting chapter. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing emergency-focused hospital within a well-established network, while maintaining clinical involvement and driving big-picture progress.

Your Role As Medical Director, youll balance clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, acting as both a role model on the floor and a strategic partner behind the scenes. You will Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care (~75% clinical) Oversee medical standards, protocols, and quality initiatives Lead, mentor, and support our ER doctor team Partner with the Hospital Director to shape operations, recruitment, and long-term planning Foster team collaboration and a culture of accountability, growth, and trust Strengthen relationships with referring veterinarians and the local community Collaborate with Ethos Veterinary Health to access leadership development, clinical education, and research opportunities What Were Looking For DVM or equivalent and eligibility for a Wisconsin veterinary license Emergency medicine experience Minimum 25 years of leadership experience A passion for mentorship and driving medical excellence Strong communication and collaboration skills Confidence in making decisions and solving complex problems A solutions-focused, adaptable leadership style
