We are a global financial firm with offices in Chicago that is looking to add a talented engineer to our growing Chicago based tech team. We are a global financial firm with offices in Chicago that is looking to add a talented engineer to our growing Chicago based tech team. We employ over 600 people and have been at the forefront in utilizing technology in order to make the best business decisions possible.
We are searching for an experienced Market Data Developer (Python) to assist in the designing of our real-time data delivery platform. In this position, you will frequently interact with business end users and defining requirements and designing the systems to best suit their needs.
You should possess a strong back ground in Data Delivery, Python, Linux, SQL.
Target Base Salary for this role will be 145-200K based on varying factors and will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
This role eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits including:
Health Dental Vision insurance 401(k) contributions Generous PTO
To be successful in this role we will look for the following in each candidate:
Python : 5+ years of experience of hands on development. Preference given to those with additional experience in Python, Java, or C# Linux SQL, PostgresSQL, or MySQL You should have worked within the financial sector developing market data delivery systems Strong communication skills and able to speak with multiple business/tech units BS Computer Science preferred
