Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist Opportunity Near Greensboro, NC
We are seeking a talented Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens position near Greensboro, NC, starting ASAP and ongoing. This role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic team while enjoying a flexible schedule.
Position Overview:- Position : Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist
- Location : Near Greensboro, NC
- Dates : ASAP - Ongoing
- Rate Type : Daily
- Shift Type : Days
- Shift Description : Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- For Mammography: Monday through Friday preferred; will accept Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Please Note : This is not a 100% Interventional Radiology (IR) position and does not include IR call.
Key Responsibilities:Light Interventional Procedures :
- Perform non-complex procedures such as:
- Image-guided biopsies
- Drainages
- PICC line placements
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis (fluid removal from the abdomen and chest)
- Perform non-complex procedures such as:
General Radiology :
- Conduct and interpret routine imaging exams, including X-rays, CTs, and MRIs.
- EMR : Meditech
- PACS : Intelerad
- VR : Fluency
- Board Certification : Required
- BLS/ACLS Certification : Required
- Active NC License & DEA : Verbal confirmation required at name clear

- Reason for Coverage : Temporary coverage needed starting November 1st.
- Special Note : This position focuses on light interventional responsibilities and routine diagnostic radiology, making it ideal for radiologists who prefer a mix of these areas without full IR responsibilities.
