Director & Licensed Psychologist at Grounded Therapy
This is a contract role for a Licensed Psychologist at Grounded Therapy. The Licensed Psychologist will be responsible for providing evidence-based counseling and therapy services and developing treatment plans for adults dealing with anxiety, OCD, PTSD, depression, and other mental health issues. They will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and provide support for mental health issues. Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of 18-24 sessions per week. Provide individualized, evidence-based treatment. Maintain up-to-date assessments, notes, and treatment plans in line with clinical standards. (optional) Participate in weekly case consultation meetings with the Grounded Therapy team. (optional) Engage in continuous professional development and learning. Qualifications: Doctoral degree in psychology Licensure as a Psychologist in California Experience with cognitive-behavioral therapies (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, ERP, PE) Commitment to inclusive practices and working with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ clients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and remotely Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling is a plus Additional certifications or specializations in relevant areas are beneficial Best-in-class fee structure with
70-80% split
depending on experience and client base. For most seeing 18 appointments per week, this results in
approximately $118,300 earnings per year. Access to
marketing, billing services, electronic records, and a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform
. Administrative support including
insurance credentialing
