Job Title: Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance Address: Hunt Valley, MD Schedule: 2nd shift, 2:00pm – 10:30pm, Full Time Job Description Perform routine setup operation, minor and major maintenance, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of highly complex/automated manufacturing equipment. Control and adjust machine settings for AutoPak equipment; responsibilities include production quality, downtime, and waste levels of machine operation. Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance including preventive repairs, adjustments, inspection, and monitoring of production and/or facilities related equipment and machinery. Work within standards and operating procedures to plan, perform, and make decisions regarding the setup and operations of a variety of production equipment. Independently run multiple lines including setting up and managing changeovers. Provide operator support across the assigned business operation; must have the capability and flexibility to provide support where needed. Perform cleanup functions in sterilized areas and evaluate charts, following simple diagrams and testing and inspecting procedures. Conduct root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions. Monitor quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Ensure accurate documentation of all relevant quality, safety, and maintenance documents. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues associated with machine performance and/or product quality. Work with general supervision and with external contractors and vendors as needed. Demonstrate the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Follow all housekeeping and safety policies and procedures. Work overtime as required to meet business requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Critical Information High School Diploma or GED Certificate and 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
