Base pay range $225,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr Elevanta Partners’ client is seeking a seasoned technology leader with deep expertise in digital transformation. Position Overview: The Practice Leader – Product and Platform Engineering will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision for our product and platform engineering practice. This role requires a seasoned technology leader with deep expertise in product development, platform engineering, and digital transformation. The successful candidate will drive business growth, lead high-performing teams, build strong client relationships, and ensure the delivery of innovative, scalable, and high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Growth: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the Product and Platform Engineering service line. Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and new business areas to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with executive leadership to align the practice strategy with overall company goals. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence within the practice. Business Development & Client Engagement: Establish strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders. Lead pre-sales efforts, including proposal development, technical presentations, and client negotiations. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored engineering solutions. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers, architects, and project managers. Define clear performance objectives and provide ongoing feedback to support team development. Champion a collaborative and inclusive culture that drives innovation and excellence. Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives to maintain cutting-edge skills within the team. Operational Excellence & Delivery: Ensure that all projects and engagements adhere to the highest quality, scalability, and performance standards. Implement best practices, methodologies, and governance frameworks to optimize delivery processes. Monitor and manage practice financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product management, marketing, and operations) to ensure seamless service delivery. Innovation & Technology Leadership: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in product and platform engineering. Drive innovation initiatives and promote the adoption of new technologies and methodologies. Oversee the development of proprietary tools, frameworks, and accelerators to enhance service delivery and competitive advantage. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in product and platform engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of driving business growth and managing P&L for a technology practice. Experience in IT Services or consulting environments is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of modern software development practices, cloud computing, microservices architectures, DevOps, and agile methodologies. Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and data analytics. Leadership & Business Acumen: Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing, diverse teams. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Other: Ability to maintain on-site hours in the Fremont, CA office Seniority level
