A kind, active San Francisco-based family is seeking a
warm, energetic, and collaborative ROTA Nanny
to join their team in caring for their infant baby. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate who finds deep joy in nurturing children, thrives in dynamic, hands-on households, and genuinely aligns with a family’s parenting values. You’ll rotate with another nanny in a 24/7 capacity for the first few months (with private sleeping quarters provided), eventually transitioning to a flexible full-time schedule (12-14 hours per day, with occasional overtime). Flexibility, emotional intelligence, and excellent judgment are key, as every week may look different. Who You Are:
You are naturally nurturing—children gravitate toward you and caring for them comes instinctively. You bring more significant childcare experience, ideally in ROTA or travel-heavy roles, with a fresh and modern mindset. You’re highly responsible, proactive, and motivated by purpose. You notice what’s needed without being told, and love supporting families in a fluid, respectful, and collaborative way. You’re emotionally intelligent, curious, and always striving to grow—no ego, no drama, just calm presence and positive energy. Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, loving care to infant, supporting developmental milestones through play, conversation, and routines
Help establish and maintain healthy sleep, feeding, and activity schedules
Prepare bottles and age-appropriate meals/snacks; support transitions to solids, etc.
Handle all child-related laundry and tidying; keep nursery and play areas clean and well-organized
