A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract position serving the elementary education sector in Burlington, NC. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly those holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience in healthcare and school settings.

Location: Burlington, North Carolina

Duration: School Year (NSY)

Setting: Elementary School

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children. Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans. Maintain detailed records of treatment progress and assessments. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student development. Provide support and consultation related to speech and language development within the school environment.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC) required. Proficiency in pediatric speech-language pathology and experience in clinical fellowship year (CFY) preferred. Knowledge of both healthcare and school-based speech pathology practices. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage caseload effectively within an educational setting.
