Atrium Health is currently seeking an Inpatient Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support our growing team at Cleveland Regional Hospital in Shelby, NC. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized inpatient care while collaborating with a highly experienced and supportive GI & Hepatology team in a dynamic hospital setting.
Job details:
• 100% Adult medicine
• Full time inpatient position, Monday through Sunday, 7 days on/ 7 days off 7am-6pm shifts
• APP will be on call daily with one attending physician
• Perform inpatient GI consults and round daily at Cleveland Regional Hospital
• Eligible for sign-on bonus and paid relocation expenses
Who you are:
• Experienced APP with at least 2 years of Gastroenterology experience preferred
• Physician Assistant - Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required, Master's Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required.
• Nurse Practitioner - Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. Acute Care board certification required based upon population and acuity served. FNPs without acute-care certification cannot be considered.
• Advanced Practice Provider demonstrates strong critical thinking abilities and effective interpersonal skills
• Able to work autonomously in an inpatient setting
• APP skilled in prioritization and proactive decision-making.

Pay Range $46.55 - $69.85
