Crane Operator

Liberty Lift Solutions, LLC Operation of cranes and other lift equipment within crane load limits. Familiar with crane load charts, load capacities that ensures safe operation and rigging during operation. Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to ensure crane is properly spotted for safe operation within load limits of crane. Manage crew during repairs, installation and general pumping unit work. Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overload. Move levers, depress foot pedals, or turn dials to operate cranes, cherry pickers, electromagnets, or other moving equipment for lifting, moving, or placing loads. Inspect cables or grappling devices for wear and install or replace cables, as needed. Clean, lubricate, and maintain mechanisms such as cables, pulleys, or grappling devices, making repairs as necessary. Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage. Direct helpers engaged in placing blocking under cranes, correct rigging placement, and size needed Load or unload trucks smoothly and accurately to prevent damage to trailers and equipment , using crane scale for correct placement. Direct truck drivers backing vehicles into loading bays and cover, uncover, or secure loads for delivery. Ensure all required documents such as permits, log books, fuel and mileage reports, daily/monthly crane inspection reports, and related paperwork are completed on a requirement basis. Oversee daily safety requirements for assigned crew. Maintain proper housekeeping of cranes and rigging. Help assemble, disassemble, repair, and maintenance of pump units when crane is idle. All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Two years crane operating/ rigging experience and Valid CDL NCCCO license Seniority level
